MENA FW21/22 Number 19 sees our desire to try to cover the entire region, working with models, photographers and creatives in this area or diaspora. In this issue, we've interviewed the creatives behind CASABLANCA, 5ivepillars, tRASHY Clothing, Situationist, rapper Oueza, and singer Bilal Hassani, who has quickly become the voice (and face) of France's cultural melting pot along with a editorial with Netflix stars Sayyid El Alami and Samir Decazza.
Alongside acclaimed photographer Mous Lamrabat, other prominent photographers include Agustin Farias, Ämr Ezzeldinn, Axle Jozeph, Asaf Einy, Celeste Galanda, Cole Fawcett, Fouad Tadros, Kapturing, Marc Medina, and Michiel Meewis.
We have tried not to be too political, but in the end it is inevitable. And, of course, there are still quite a few problems in some countries in this region, for example, in relation to LGBTQ+ rights and women's rights. But if we look closely, even in Europe we have these same problems. In our opinion, we need to hear more. And have faith in this new generation that I am sure will revolutionize the world.
