The BIRKENSTOCK Boston model is a true classic that can be worn without problem all year round. With its refined design that can be individually adapted, the Boston clog has long enjoyed legendary status. This model has a very special detail: the straps have a braided print perfect for the modern bohemian aesthetic. The upper material is made of particularly soft suede that adapts to the foot like a glove.

Upper material: Suede

Suede is a “rough leather” with a sanded and scraped surface. Suede has a soft and velvety surface that provides a very pleasant sensation in contact with the skin. In addition, it has a great capacity for moisture absorption. Natural suede is softer and more flexible than smooth leather and does not have the same stability. Furthermore, its stability changes depending on each person's skin. This is not a material or manufacturing defect.

Inner sole: Upper layer of leather insole

Leather covering, flexible and harmless to the skin, that welcomes the foot, adopting its shape and folding to its profile. The surface of the lining has a honeycomb structure, which makes it particularly breathable, thus enabling a pleasant environment inside the shoe even during intense physical activity.

Inner base material: Cork

Cork is a regenerable raw material that is extracted from the bark of the cork oak. It is a natural heat-insulating product and has excellent cushioning properties.

Contact sole: EVA

EVA (ethyl vinyl acetate) is a high-quality plastic, endowed with particular lightness and elasticity, which also offers extremely good cushioning properties. In this way, it compensates for small irregularities in the floor and provides soft cushioning for steps when walking.
