Inside we celebrate a wonderful group of 13 creatives, artists and crafters from around the world.
With:
Stories of Salt and Starlight by Ruth Steadman
Sarahbeth Larrimore is a clothing designer turned teacher who teaches slow fashion from a sustainability point of view and listens to the call of her muse.
Rebecca Desnos is a British creative who advocates natural plant dyeing and harnessing nature's solutions to heal and nourish.
Cara Wassenberg is a British sculptor based in West Sussex whose work is a distillation of her two passions: a love of process and the wild outdoors.
Kate Hill is a published author, professional cook, teacher, mentor, coach, and self-described modern elder and Gascon fairy godmother.
Old Hope is the studio on the edge of Romney Marsh where artist and printmaker Darren Pilcher works using wax stencils and woodcut techniques. He describes his work as primitive, prefers to use cheap and natural materials, and aims to create works that share a deep sense of belonging with others.
Jannik Abel is a Norwegian contemporary artist who moved to a forest in 2017 to create a home and art. Inside his forest atelier, Jannik creates functional objects and works of art using only fallen wood, his hands, and hand tools.
Jeni Glasgow is an Irish creative, at once hunter, gatherer, assembler, disassembler, maker, curator, thinker, sartorialist and dancer. It shows that the true art of matter is here, at home, in the daily rhythms and rituals of our days.
Sarah Espeute is a French artist and designer who embroiders stories of everyday images on antique and vintage linens for her creative brand, Oeuvres Sensibles.
Odile Bouscarat is a creative who paints with found objects. She takes 18th-century fabrics and hand-painted scraps of wallpaper, wire, glass, and unexpectedly poetic scraps and restores, repairs, and transforms them for the next generation to cherish.
Lu Mason is a self-taught British creative who works with many different mediums, from cut paper and recycled fabrics to Perspex and spray paint. Create vibrant and storied rag rugs, mobiles, murals, installations and bold jewelry.
Bérengère Desmettre is a writer, visual artist, journalist and photographer living in the countryside, just outside of Paris. Since 2010, Bérengère has dedicated a large part of his creative time to an ambitious artistic project with which he hopes to share his eternal desire to discover the cultural, poetic and human richness of the world.
Isabelle Pierrès is a leather designer based in Nantes, in the north-west of France. In 2010 he created the Atelier St Loup brand, specializing in handmade luxury leather goods that combine traditional know-how and artisan excellence with contemporary design, using exclusively French and European materials.
