The WATA II fabric is made from certified organic and regenerative cotton yarns from Bergman Rivera, Peru, while the lining and laces are made from 100% organic cotton from Brazil and Peru.

From 2004 to 2022, VEJA purchased approximately 1,300 tons of organic cotton. Cotton is grown in Brazil and Peru by associations that respect people and the environment, according to fair trade principles.

In Brazil, cotton is organic and agroecological, an agriculture that enriches the cultivated land by promoting crop diversity and water retention in the soil. In Peru, organic and regenerative cotton producers are accompanied in their certification and receive technical and financial support to improve their production.

Tips

The use of a washing machine is not recommended, as it can alter the properties of the different materials.
Before using them for the first time, it is advisable to waterproof the shoes with a spray adapted to the material and repeat this operation periodically.



MAINLINE
Canvas models: the canvas can be brushed with cold water and Marseille soap.
Leather models: keep the leather of your shoes smooth with a damp cloth and periodically with a specific spray or cream. Suede inserts can be maintained with dry brushing.
CWL models: maintain the CWL of your shoes with a damp cloth and Marseille soap
